Early Bird Registration Kickoff
Doors open for the earliest wave of participants. Discounted entry, free t-shirt while supplies last.
This is more than a 5K. It is a celebration of recovery, perseverance, and community — founded by stroke survivor Tressa Archer. Stroke survivors, caregivers, families, healthcare professionals, veterans, seniors, runners, walkers, and supporters all take the same route on the same morning, at whatever pace recovery allows.
Together We Recover. Together We Inspire. Together We Make a Difference.

House of LaClaire Inc. exists to walk alongside stroke survivors and their families through every step of the long road home. Founded on the belief that recovery is a communal act — not a private struggle — our annual 5K Run/Walk gathers neighbors, clinicians, caregivers, and survivors together for a single morning of shared purpose. Every dollar raised funds direct recovery grants, rehabilitation scholarships, in-home caregiver respite programs, and public education initiatives designed to help our community recognize the signs of stroke sooner. Recovery is not a straight line, but the road is walked in company.
Every $50 provides one week of in-home caregiver respite for a recovering survivor.
The 2027 Edition runs on volunteers — course marshals, registration hosts, hydration crews, and finish-line stewards. No experience required, only the willingness to show up on a Saturday morning and stand with your community.
